As far as the White House perks, I’m sure it’s been done in the past, but I don’t know that it’s ever been to this degree. But what do you expect from Obama? This is classic Chicago politics.
You guys are hilarious. I love the spending “success” stories.
I’ll add that Net Neutrality is a deceptive name. They will not make the internet neutral, they will regulate it and stifle innovation. It’s just the government’s attempt to control something they can’t control now. Companies will not be able to profit from building infrastructure which will give the government a reason to build the infrastructure themselves. Then, since they built it, they can control it. It’s dangerous stuff.
I’m currently listening to the government waste segment on Mayhem in the AM, and I just remembered that there are some states refusing to use the stimulus roadsigns – Georgia, for instance: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/14/us/14sign.html
