9/12 Tea Party

As many of you know today was a big day! All over the country Americans gathered together to speak out against oppressive out of control government, and a badly flawed push for a government takeover of our health care system. We had a great time at the Tea Party Protest here in Lakeland, FL, and there was a great turn out despite all around bad weather. While the rain did slow up here and there, never enough to dry off, but way to go Lakeland for still turning out and making your voices heard! The estimates ranged from around 750-1,000 in attendance. We saw everyone from newborns to senior citizens out there which was great. As I’m sure all of you who attended a Tea Party saw, disgust with a bloated federal government has no age limits or requirements. We had time to hear some great speakers from local radio stations, nationally syndicated hosts, and candidate for the United States Senate, Marco Rubio. I actually got a chance to catch up with Marco after he spoke and talk to him a bit about our show and our interest in possibly doing some work together, so definitely keep your ears open for that! We had a friend take some pictures while we were there so also be on the lookout for those to be posted in the next day or two. We hope that all of you got a chance to take part wherever you were today and get involved!
