I would also say that while Obama is not responsible by any means for Crist's actions, Crist's actions are related to the Obama administration's in some ways. Like we said on Episode 5, he could not have kept this ponzi scheme that is Florida's economy going any longer in without the TARP money from the Federal Government, and take the money from the Fed is exactly what he did. So while Obama is not responsible for Charlie's actions, Tim, some of Crist's actions are directly dependant on Obama.

Sorry Tim, I didn't mean to confuse you. I was talking about two completely different taxes. If you checked the first link I shared here, the President is looking at a federal tax on cigarettes. I just wanted to add that our wonderful, conservative governor decided he also wanted to impose a state tax on cigarettes. I'm not holding Obama responsible for the actions of Crist. They are two different taxes but equally wrong.

I guess I don't quite see how Charlie Crist's activities are in any way related to the Obama administration's. I mean, Obama ran on not raising taxes for 95% of Americans... but how does he get held responsible for the activities of a governor from the other political party? Seems a bit illogical to me.
